Welcome to IAOP

The International Association of Oral Pathologists was established in 1976. Its major objectives are the development and promotion of the practice of oral pathology and the advancement of knowledge in clinical aspects, laboratory diagnosis and research in oral pathology and also the encouragement of communication between individuals of all nations in pursuance of these objectives. Any individual who is interested in oral pathology is eligible for membership of the association, provided that such a person conforms to the recognised standards of professional ethics.

LATEST NEWS

IAOP interesting cases

IAOP is pleased to provide the first of a planned series of challenging cases. For the first case a brief clinical history is provided together with some radiographic images. A differential diagnosis based on the history and clinical/radiographic findings can be submitted within the first two weeks and the responses will be collated. Histopathology will then be provided for respondents to refine their diagnosis or offer an alternative diagnosis in the following week before the diagnosis is finally revealed.

Those who wish to participate are invited to submit their responses by email to Dr Roman Carlos at  romancarlos@itelgua.com by 18 August.
