Welcome to IAOP

The International Association of Oral Pathologists was established in 1976. Its major objectives are the development and promotion of the practice of oral pathology and the advancement of knowledge in clinical aspects, laboratory diagnosis and research in oral pathology and also the encouragement of communication between individuals of all nations in pursuance of these objectives. IAOP interesting cases

IAOP is pleased to provide the first of a planned series of challenging cases. For each case a brief clinical history is provided together with relevant clinical and/or radiographic images. A differential diagnosis based on the history and clinical/radiographic findings can be submitted and the responses collated. Histopathology will then be provided for respondents to refine their diagnosis or offer an alternative diagnosis before the diagnosis is finally revealed.
